About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the team in the position of Parts Manager. The position will see you focus on the management of our growing parts department of our Melbourne Branch. You will lead a dedicated team in coordinating the supply of quality parts to our valued customer base whilst liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure high level service delivery.

In this position, you will be providing a range of OEM level services related to parts in end to end customer query management. This position will be best suited to the personable professional who holds a real passion for providing customer service from an operational standpoint.

To achieve this, you will need to:

· Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify efficiency and cost down opportunities within own area or across business.

· Ensure the effective operation and compliance of the Parts Department with company policy, procedures and quality requirements.

· Ensure our employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behavior within the department

To be successful, you will need:

· Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS Principles

· Proven experience in leading a Parts department either in automotive, commercial vehicle, construction / mining or from Agriculture industries.

· Demonstrated leadership skills in a similar environment where you have developed and mentored staff.

· High OEM level understanding and mechanical aptitude for parts support

· Strong Inventory management experience with excellent IT skills with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Excellent business acumen with an exceptional internal & external customer service skills.
