Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated in Corporate Financial Planner & Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, Italy.

Who We Are in Naples – Italy

In Naples Hitachi Rail employees roughly 700 people, mostly engineers, who are developing signalling technologies at the state of the art, signaling systems design, the analysis of safety, reliability and availability, laboratory testing, contract management and control, research and development, procurement, and prevention and protection.

Accountabilities 

Partner with the business in order to understand the drivers of efficiency for all non-project costs in the company. 

• Consistently monitor progress against assigned targets. Always striving to reduce costs without impacting effectiveness;
• Provide consistent Reporting to business management reporting results and identifying risks and opportunities;
• Drive process within the business requirement definition;
• Ensure coordination with, and manage the interdependencies, within all groups of CFO function for financial closing activities;
• Support the Budget, Forecast and Rolling process through the different levels of operations.

Essential Requirements

• From 5 up to 10 years of experience;
• Knowledge Power BI or equivalent BI tool (Tableau, Penthao);
• Knowledge SAP(BW/SAP 4/H /BPC, Hyperion, Onestream;
• Skills in process/project management;
• Analytical accounting expertise;
• Knowledge of accounting/financial principles;
• Stress resistant and proactive approach;
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
• Skills in in  DBMS (SQL) , Access, Visual Basic, Power BI , Microsoft SSAS / SSIS / SSRS, Oracle Business Intelligence;
• Highly numerical, analytical whilst focused on owning the detail, maintaining an appreciation of the bigger picture.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in a global environment;
• Experience in Dashboard Building and Financial Reporting;
• Previous experience gained in a global corporate in the manufacturing or other long-term project based industries (Infrastructure, Construction, Mining etc).

Education/Qualifications
 

Bachelors of Economics/Business Administration or similar technical background.

Languages

Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
