The Opportunity

Looking after a high profile mining customer based in Northern Queensland, we are looking for a Customer Support Representative to join our Townsville team. In this influential position, you will be the first point of contact for our company and the integral link for supporting our valued customer.

Working Monday to Friday, you will spend the majority of your time on the customer mine site (DIDO) providing holistic support for their fleet of Hitachi mining trucks and excavators. Your extensive knowledge of mining equipment will enable you to be successful in this customer-facing role, while using your passion for providing exceptional customer service.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications
  • Have experience providing holistic technical advice on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical components
  • Be committed to meeting deadlines through planning and execution of maintenance, working collaboratively with the customer and Hitachi Service Department to meet and exceed expectations
  • Have customer management experience with the ability to develop strong business relationships within a similar environment
  • Have a proactive response to problem resolution and delivering on customer expectations
