Key Accountabilities & Key Activities
Consolidation
- Support the monthly consolidation process:
- Opening process of monthly closing in the consolidation tool (HFM)
- Act as a key user of the consolidation tool (HFM) to support the local finance teams
- Support the review of entities financial data
- Input data in Hitachi consolidation tool
- Support the quarter/annual consolidation process:
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements including some IFRS disclosures
- Work on different IFRS topics: pension, equity reconciliation, impairment,…
- Input data in Hitachi consolidation tool
- Support the forecast and budget consolidation process
Reporting
- Monthly, quarter and annual financial analysis:
- Ensure the maintenance and harmonization of the different functional business reports
- Support the preparation and the analysis of the local and consolidated reporting (financial reporting and KPI included in the consolidation tool)
- Business review of the entities performance and ensuring compliance with management and Group accounting and reporting guidelines
- Follow-up the entities key issues
- South Africa monthly reporting, prepare and input forecast and budget
- Consolidation tool maintenance:
- Support the consolidation tool development tests for any changes of reporting following Management and Group operational needs/requirements or for compliance purpose
- Communication:
- Support the Consolidation Manager for Business Performance and any Financial Communication
- Support the Consolidation Manager for any communication to entities
Accounting governance and processes
- Support Consolidation Manager for improvement actions, maintenance or training for end users of the consolidation tools
- Support Consolidation Manager for implementing new accounting standards
- Support Consolidation Manager for IFRS 16 follow up

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Business School or equivalent
- IFRS and accounting skills
- At least 4 years of experience in finance within an international company or as external auditor
