Java Technical Lead

Position Overview:

Experienced, senior core Java Developer to contribute to the delivery of a high performing Product development team for US based Client. The product R&D team is working on major enhancements to their flagship products which include feature improvement and architecture re-platforming to improve performance. The role would involve all aspects of a web based application development - core Java backend, API/ microservices integration, front end development using React framework. Working cloud environments in an agile methodology and CI/CD tools is a must, Azure cloud experience will be a great positive.

Responsibilities
1) 50% of time: You will be expected to work as a member of the development team and participate in all aspects of software development lifecycle with a focus on Java Development using J2EE standards. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills as well as the drive to learn more about the business and new technologies. Candidate should be open to work front to back in applications and must have sound grasp of development best practices and system architecture.
2) 50% of time: Act as Technical lead and mentor to a geographically distributed team in India and Vietnam in order to deliver planned work as part of Scrum team; strong co-ordination and mentoring global delivery teams will be a critical part of the job.

Required Skills:

Bachelors or Master's Degree
Strong understanding of Core Java and J2EE server technologies:
Experience building REST and Soap web services using Java
Strong experience with Spring
Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication , organizational, and collaboration skills
Experience working on large and medium scale projects in agile environment

Desired Skills:
Azure tools
PostgreSql/ Database queries
Front end/ Full stack skills (React JS)
