The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fitter to join our Remanufacturing division. In this position, you will play a crucial role overhauling major and minor mechanical and hydraulic components across the Hitachi product range. Based in Forrestdale, this role will give an experienced Fitter exposure to OEM training and benefits and an opportunity to build on existing skills.

You will bring the following skills and experience:

  • A trade qualification as a HD fitter
  • Previous experience with the overhaul, repair and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components, preferably within the Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipment space
  • Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Be willing and able to work shift work and overtime as required
  • Experience in a production line style workshop
  • A forklift and dogging license and experience will be advantageous
  • As a professional Fitter, you will have a strong safety focus and abide by site safety processes at all times.
