The Legal Intern will report to the Legal Director. This role will assist the Data Privacy Legal team with research, developing and maintaining Reports of Processing, drafting legal documents, and maintaining corporate records. The intern will further manage invoicing for the Legal Department and support the Contract Management team with reviewing and uploading contracts into the contract lifecycle management tool. The Legal Intern will gain experience about Contracts, Data Privacy, Compliance, Corporate Governance, and managing outside counsel.
As an Intern in the Legal organization, you will:
Assist with legal research and drafting of legal documents
Assist with drafting Reports of Processing and other Privacy Program-related documents
Review contracts and upload them into the contract lifecycle management tool
File, organize and summarize legal and corporate documents
Update and maintain corporate documents, records and databases
Assist in with invoicing What You Bring To the Team
Currently pursuing a Law degree
Interest in and desire to learn more about law and technology
Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
For Colorado only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act): The expected salary for this position in our Colorado office is $15 - $25 per hour. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
