About Hitachi Europe (HEU)

You will be dedicated to support the Hitachi Europe Ltd (HEU) which is a social innovation company with headquarters based in Maidenhead, England. The company’s European operations employ over 550 people to deliver services and solutions to customers in several key business areas. The company's portfolio includes digital media products, industrial components and equipment, European procurement and sourcing, research and design, information systems.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to support accounting activities for European countries (UK, Germany, Italy and more). The intern will work under the supervision of the accountants or/and Managers.


We are looking for ambitious, committed, and motivated people to join our RTR team based in Krakow. We currently seek for Intern to join our team.

During your internship program, we offer the following training:

  • Post journal entries in SAP (e.g. accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany)
  • Help with balance sheet accounts reconciliations
  • Support Treasury Department (e.g. bank reconciliations, processing payments, cash forecast)
  • Support Fixed Asset process
  • Support intercompany process (e.g. post journals, issue manual invoices)
  • Attending meetings
  • Help with improvements initiatives and projects


  • Good knowledge of English
  • Computer literate, MS Office, especially Excel
  • High level of accuracy / attention to detail
  • Practical, hands-on mentality, strong delivery attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player attitude
