Safety Compliance Trainer

1st shift (with flexibility as needed)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to) :

  • Energy Control and Power Lockout Program
  • Confined Space Program
  • Person Protective Equipment (PPE) Program
  • Powered Vehicle Impact Monitoring
  • Contractor Program
  • New Equipment Buyoff/Red-Yellow-Green Approval
  • Incident Investigations and Near Miss Reporting
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Risk Reduction
  • Ergonomics Program

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

  • Willing to pursue OSHA 10-hour for General Industry or OSHA 30-hour for General Industry
  • Willing to pursue Associates Degree in Occupational Safety
  • Basic knowledge of the above mentioned subjects or willing to learn

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS :

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Intermediate computer skills are preferred
  • Must be detail oriented, have ability to multitask and possess great interpersonal skills
