Teamcenter NX Administrator (Hybrid)

Description

As a Teamcenter NX Administrator, you will serve as a technical software expert and administrator for the Siemens Suite of tools.  When it’s time for enhancements and maintenance, you’ll be able to assess needs and make necessary recommendations.  After implementing updates, you can provide training and ongoing support for the team. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Responsible for daily system health checks, performing weekly maintenance in and monthly user enhancements & GM/NX upgrades.
• Coordinate and lead user groups to understand immediate and upcoming needs or issues with PDM, Creo or SolidWorks.
• Review modeling techniques with users to create modelling requirement definitions and develop common CAD operations. 
• Analyze, align and update training materials for current and future software systems.
• Develop, standardize, and implement engineering library to a user level
• Learn FactoryCAD, Process Simulate and other Siemens tools to provide additional support as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

• Associate degree in an Engineering Science or Computer Science related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience with Teamcenter and/or NX as a user
• Previous Administrator roles or responsibilities. 
• Prior General Motors (GM) experience preferred. 

Skills You’ll Have: 

• Understanding of Top-Down Design methodology
• Ability to create enhancements in CAD software preferred.

Other Details: 

• Travel up to 10% to customer sites & other JR locations
• The ability to work a hybrid schedule at our Auburn Hills, MI location
