The Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Parts & Service Supervisor to join our team at our Somerton Branch. Join a global OEM that genuinely cares for its staff & customers. Reporting to the Victorian Branch Manager, the role will see you manage and co-ordinate end-to-end parts & service activities. You will have a small team consisting of parts interpreters and workshop technicians reporting to you.

We are looking for someone who understands the complexities around the hire business such as capturing damage to machines during the off hire process and:

• Demonstrate through leadership a commitment to safety and ensure all service work is completed in line with all WHS legislation
• Manage and co-ordinate end-to-end service activities including the co-ordination of technicians, parts staff, contractors and all other relevant parties
• Co-ordinate, process and maintain off hire documentation
• Provide ongoing communication to all customers and ensure the best quality service is received
• Provide customers with quotations for all service related quote requests
• Manage the service KPIs, including Customer WIP, in line with Company targets
• Work with the service administration team to prepare and generate invoices
• Daily approval and management of employee timesheets
• Liaise with Service Admin, Parts and CSR staff to advise job requirements

Your knowledge, skills and Abilities:

• Previous supervisory/leadership experience within earthmoving/hire industry
• Heavy mechanical trade and a strong understanding of equipment and service-related activities
• Customer focussed and excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and mentor team members and apprentices
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics & Microsoft office suite products
• Previous experience within the hire industry is preferred
