Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst provides analysis of the operational and financial results, as well as operational efficiencies, cost drivers, and continuous improvement opportunities. Overall the position will provide support to Senior Management, Controlling, and other key functional areas.

DUTIES :

  • Assist in the coordinating, reviewing and consolidating of monthly forecasts and annual
    plant budgets
  • Prepare internal daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
  • Prepare monthly cost operational reviews and assist with monthly Key Process Indicators (KPI) reports
  • Provide and develop effective, accurate financial analysis tools to key stakeholders
  • Actively participate as member of the team involved in ongoing financial responsibilities and concerns that support and improve the organization as a whole
  • Understand, review, and maintain product cost standards
  • Review and monitor costing data for accuracy
  • Forecast and analyze manufacturing costs
  • Analyze variable, fixed, and distribution costs for business plant units
  • Complete monthly and/or quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations to assist in the monthly reporting and close process
  • Maintain and develop corporate forecasting files to provide accurate and relevant financial analysis for relevant stakeholders
  • Test accuracy of Operating System (ERP) and provide feedback for improvement

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA or CMA preferred
  • 0-3 years of prior manufacturing experience required

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Ability to collect information and communicate to all levels of plant management
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong problem identification and solutions skills
  • Must have a strong cost background and understanding of cost accounting principles
  • Ability to honor confidentiality at all times
  • Have good conflict resolution skills
  • Have strong objectivity and judgment skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of iSeries preferred
