Automation Concepting/Applications Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Generate conceptual solutions for problems with no previous or standard solution.
• Generate CAD, Simulations, and visual representations of concepts.
• Develop a comprehensive proposal package that incorporates necessary documentation for internal and external audiences.  
• Provide assistance to Account Manager and determine best sales strategy based on customer requirements.
• Travel to customer facilities.
• Facilitate and provide input for concepts and review meetings with functional teams.
• Present project concepting and costing to the executive team.
• Ability to comprehend, describe, and discuss concerns and answer questions from a technical standpoint.
• Able to work independently and within a team.

What You’ll Bring: 

• BS degree in an engineering field or related industry experience (Mechanical or Mechatronics).
• 10+ years of automation experience.
• Experience in concepting, sales, proposals and customer interaction.
