MarTech Automation Specialist
The Team
We're looking for a MarTech Operations Specialist to own and optimize the marketing technology stack that powers our campaigns, data, and reporting. You'll be the connective tissue between marketing, sales, and IT, making sure our tools are properly integrated, our data is clean and reliable, and our teams can execute campaigns efficiently. This role suits someone who enjoys both the technical side of marketing systems and the operational discipline of keeping everything running smoothly.
The Role:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the marketing technology stack, including [marketing automation platform, CRM, CDP, analytics tools].
- Manage integrations and data flows between marketing, sales, and other business systems to ensure a single source of truth.
- Build and maintain lead management processes, including lead scoring, routing, nurturing, and lifecycle stages.
- Set up, QA, and support email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and automated journeys.
- Maintain data hygiene through regular auditing, deduplication, segmentation, and governance.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, funnel metrics, and marketing ROI.
- Support marketing attribution and help connect activity to pipeline and revenue.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across tools and act as the go-to resource for the marketing team.
- Evaluate new tools and vendors, run proofs of concept, and manage onboarding and offboarding of platforms.
- Document processes, maintain playbooks, and train team members on tools and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as [GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA] and manage consent and preferences.
What you'll bring
- 5 years of experience in marketing operations, MarTech administration, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform (e.g., [Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud]).
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle, funnel metrics, and marketing-to-sales handoff.
- Experience with data management, segmentation, and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for working across marketing, sales, and technical teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with integration tools (e.g., [Workato, Zapier, Tray.io]) and basic knowledge of APIs.
- Familiarity with analytics and BI tools (e.g., [Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI]).
- Understanding of SQL or scripting for data manipulation.
- Relevant certifications.
