Job Description

Internationally leading Fintech company and independent provider for the financial industry to both develop and operate its own software. Headquartered in Switzerland with highly qualified domain and IT specialists and has a global customer base of more than hundred financial institutions.

Requirements

• Possessing 5-8 years of progressive experience in full-stack software development, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering robust and scalable enterprise applications.
• This role operates in a fully remote capacity, requiring excellent self-management, proactive communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across various time zones.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in developing complex single-page applications using Angular, including state management, component architecture, and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong working knowledge and practical experience with TypeScript, applying its features to build robust and maintainable backend and frontend codebases.
• Proven advanced expertise in Node.js development, including building scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrating with various data sources in a production environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with NestJS framework at an intermediate level, including its modular architecture, dependency injection, and integration capabilities for backend services.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust full-stack solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability for financial software applications.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, adhering to best practices and architectural patterns.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with Angular, focusing on user experience and maintainability.
• Contribute to the architectural design of new features and system enhancements within the financial software platform.
• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Optimize existing codebases for performance, security, and reliability, particularly in high-transaction financial environments.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack, ensuring minimal disruption to critical financial operations.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and development methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure comprehensive unit and integration testing for all developed components to maintain system integrity.
• Manage deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for continuous delivery of financial software.
