Senior Maintenance Engineer
1. Maintenance Planning & Control
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Analyze root cause of recurring failures and propose corrective actions
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure machines are restored to safe and optimal operating conditions after maintenance.
- Coordinate and assign daily maintenance tasks to technicians
- Assist in equipment modification, improvement, and reliability enhancement activities.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, Equipment Availability, OEE, and Maintenance Cost.
2. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to support operational needs.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize downtime.
- Communicate technical issues and maintenance status clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Support installation, modification, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment or machine.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance records, spare parts usage, machine history, maintenance checklists, and technical documentation.
- Report recurring issues, abnormal conditions, and improvement suggestions to supervisors or managers.
- Support audit documentation related to maintenance, safety, and quality systems.
4. Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Lean, or reliability programs.
- Support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Suggest improvements to maintenance methods, tools, and spare parts management.
- Develop technical skills and keep knowledge updated with new technologies and equipment.
- Support training and knowledge sharing within the maintenance team.
5. HSE Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions related to equipment and maintenance work.
- Experience > 10 years in the maintenance field.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment systems.
- Skilled in AutoCAD for equipment layout and maintenance-related drawings.
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and industrial standards.
- In-depth understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
