Senior Software Engineer_Admin Stream

Job Description

Seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the Admin Portal Team. The team maintains internal management tools, provisioning portals, and administrative consoles used by system operators. You will update our core administrative applications to seamlessly support provisioning, monitoring, and managing our new ARM-based server instances.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of commercial full-stack web application development experience.
Hands-on development experience in ColdFusion (Adobe ColdFusion / Lucee
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and relational database query optimization
Experience in maintaining web application backends and admin tools

Nice to have:

Experience modernizing legacy web applications or porting interfaces to modern frameworks
Exposure to cloud compute instance provisioning UI flows

Job Responsibilities

Modify and update administrative web portal interfaces (specifically Admin.linode.com) to support new ARM compute instance options, provisioning rules, and customer management screens.
Update backend database queries, business logic, and UI forms for ARM server provisioning and management.
Integrate administrative portal features with underlying orchestrator and billing REST APIs.
Debug application issues, maintain secure coding standards, and ensure interface stability.
