Requirements

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and
modernization of enterprise business applications. This role supports both legacy and next-generation
systems, working across the full technology stack including backend development, frontend
implementation, database management, and cloud-based solutions. 
The position involves maintaining existing applications built using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor (CSHTML),
jQuery, DataTables, and SQL Server, while contributing to the development of modern cloud-native
solutions utilizing the latest .NET technologies, Vue.js, Azure Cloud Services, and Azure-hosted SQL
Server environments.

Job Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Legacy Application Development & Support
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built on ASP.NET MVC and C#.
Develop and maintain user interfaces using CSHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and DataTables.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
Refactor and improve legacy code to enhance maintainability and performance.
Collaborate with business teams to implement new features and enhancements.

Database Development
Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Create and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, and queries.
Analyse and improve database performance through indexing and query optimization.
Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across enterprise systems.

Modern Application Development
Develop cloud-based applications using modern C# and .NET technologies.
Build responsive and maintainable frontend applications using Vue.js.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
Contribute to scalable and maintainable application architecture following modern development practices.

Cloud & Digital Transformation
Participate in the migration of applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
Develop and maintain Azure-hosted services and databases.
Support cloud deployment, configuration, monitoring, and optimization activities.
Assist in defining and implementing cloud architecture standards and best practices.

Software Quality & Collaboration
Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, stakeholders, and QA personnel.
Produce technical documentation and system design documentation.
Support Agile development processes including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
Experience working across both legacy and modern technology stacks.
Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
