Job Description

Our client is a leading telecommunications and internet service provider based in Japan, offering a range of innovative solutions including network services, cloud computing and security solutions to businesses and individuals. By leveraging the technological expertise gained through providing Internet connectivity services, the company has expanded its business portfolio as a total solutions provider, offering outsourcing services that include cloud computing, Wide-Area Network (WAN) services, systems integration services, and more.

Moving all information online has necessitated expanding their cloud service capabilities to remain competitive with other leading market players in this field. A set of our projects will focus on extending these services' capabilities and functionalities. Specifically, we are building a next-generation AI platform designed to securely govern AI usage across the enterprise. This involves building controlled AI gateways, integrating secure tool-call servers (MCP), and providing isolated sandbox environments for autonomous AI agents.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, or Lead DevOps Engineer.
• Deep expertise in containerization and secure sandboxing technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, gVisor, Firecracker) for building isolated execution environments.
• Strong understanding of API Gateway design, network routing, and data loss prevention (DLP) mechanisms.
• Experience with identity federation, authentication, and authorization protocols (e.g., Keycloak, OIDC, SAML).
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Rust for advanced system integration and infrastructure scripting.
• Experience with network security controls, including designing secure egress services, provider rules, and data masking.
• Solid understanding of integrating internal business APIs, package mirrors, and enterprise Git servers securely.
• High level of proactiveness and the ability to drive architectural tasks independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and experience connecting AI models to enterprise SaaS and internal tools.
• Experience designing AI Gateways that can intelligently route requests based on cost, latency, and security policies.
• Familiarity with AI agent tools and frameworks, with an understanding of how autonomous
• AI systems execute tools and manage state. Experience in designing audit logging systems (e.g., tool-call audits, session identity tracking) for AI platforms.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect who will help design and implement a comprehensive, highly governed Enterprise AI Platform. This role requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual who can seamlessly bridge multiple domains—from AI utilization control and tool connections to secure execution environments. You will play a critical role in shaping the platform's security and ensuring high product quality through smart, scalable architectural solutions. Some of your duties will include but are not limited to:

• AI Gateway & Usage Control: Architect AI routing solutions that manage model selection based on cost and latency, while enforcing data masking, provider rules, and access policies via ID federation tools like Keycloak.
• Connection & Tool Control: Design secure integration layers using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and API Gateways to safely connect AI systems with business APIs, documents, and external SaaS platforms. Establish robust permission and approval workflows for tool calls.
• Isolated Execution Environments: Design the architecture for secure execution services and sandboxes where AI agents and scripts can operate autonomously within isolated workspaces.
• Security & Auditing: Define mechanisms for strict isolation, egress controls (integrating package mirrors and Git servers), and comprehensive post-execution auditing to ensure AI governance.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration between authentication systems, AI gateways, tool controllers, and execution sandboxes.
• Advocate for cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and AI governance best practices across internal teams and the client's organization.
• Communicate effectively with internal and client stakeholders, clearly articulating architectural approaches, benefits, and results.
