Sr Bid Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Manager / Proposal Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end bid management process, from opportunity qualification and bid strategy to proposal development and submission. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and proposal writing skills, with experience in managing RFP/RFI responses and using bid automation tools.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, technical writing, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in end-to-end bid/proposal management, including RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.

Experience in ERP, SaaS, or enterprise software environments; ERP industry exposure is preferred.

Strong skills in proposal writing, compliance management, win themes, value propositions, and competitive differentiation.

Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex bids, and deliver within tight deadlines.

Hands-on experience with AI-powered proposal tools such as AnswerTree, Qvidian, or similar platforms, including AI-assisted response generation and content reuse.

Preferred Requirements

Experience with ERP solutions and enterprise business applications.

Familiarity with Shipley methodology, proposal automation tools, and content libraries.

Experience with public-sector bids and complex enterprise software proposals.

Strong stakeholder management, mentoring, and continuous improvement skills.

Job Responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage bid qualification and bid/no-bid decisions for new opportunities.
- Own end-to-end RFP/RFI responses using bid automation tools such as RFPIO, tracking timelines, compliance, and risks.
- Coordinate inputs from Sales, Presales, Professional Services, Commercial, and Legal teams.
- Manage bid commercials, ensuring all required services are accurately included in the final pricing.
- Develop and refine proposal content, including executive summaries, presentations, and customer-aligned value propositions.
