СI\CD engineer for Embedded Systems

Job Description

GlobalLogic's Automotive department is excited to invite applications for the position of CI\CD Engineer.

The goal of our project is to optimize and enhance our Automotive Solution with new features. Our clients include Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs from Europe and the USA, and our development efforts focus on automotive solutions that will be integrated into the latest car models. In this project, we are developing a cutting-edge computer-in-the-car architecture, which is crucial for driving innovation in areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning, and autonomous driving.

We face the exciting challenge of setting up infrastructure from scratch to support automotive solutions for European car manufacturers. We welcome knowledge and creativity as we embark on this journey.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in CI/CD / DevOps engineering
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Bazel build system
• Experience with Linux administration and command line
• Scripting: Python, Bash
• Experience building dashboards in Grafana and Power BI
• Understanding of monitoring and telemetry concepts (metrics, data sources, alerting)
• Working knowledge of Git and code review tools (Gerrit or GitHub)
• Agile development methodology: Scrum, KanbanTechnical engineering degree (preferably in software or systems engineering)
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset towards developer teams

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Zuul CI
• Prometheus, InfluxDB or similar time-series databases
• Artifactory, Ansible
• Azure or AWS
• Experience in embedded (automotive) development

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines
• Provide day-to-day support to developers on build and pipeline issues
• Set up and maintain telemetry for build infrastructure using Grafana
• Prepare metrics and reports for management in Power BI (build health, pipeline throughput, failure trends)
• Troubleshoot and investigate pipeline and build failures
• Automate routine tasks with Python and Bash
• Contribute to CI documentation and onboarding materials
